Shortcode: Google Maps

Most everyone  who has ever used the internet has heard of Google maps, a mapping technology that shows the location and sometimes business location, hours, contact information, etc. The Google Maps shortcode allows a blog site to have a smaller window of a Google map that works exactly like the actual Google Maps page does.

To put a Google map on one’s blog site a person goes to Google maps and search for a geographic location. Once a location is chosen click the link button in the top left corner of the window where a pop up will appear, copy and paste the html directly into the text editor of  a WordPress post save and publish your post and there will be a mini Google map on a word press blog page.
